Good posture is an easy way to help maintain a healthy mind and body. Having a relaxed, upright posture can improve common problems such as back or neck pain, headaches, and fatigue, as well as promoting a general sense of well-being. Lying comfortably on a yoga mat, you will be guided through slow, gentle, relaxing movements designed to undo poor movement habits and to introduce more effective and pleasurable alternatives.
This workshop will focus on learning to let go of the unconscious muscular efforts that distort your posture and will help you to:
• stand and sit taller and feel lighter
• drop your shoulders back
• open the front part of your chest
• move with less effort
